Construction of our newest service center is progressing at full speed, with expected completion in early spring 2012. The Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina facility will serve life science and advanced technology companies in the Southeast.

The high-hazard material storage and distribution facility is uniquely designed to provide a safe and efficient controlled cGMP environment for a variety of life science and advanced technology raw material products. And, with a validated cleanroom, we perform more advanced Streamline™ services, like sampling and dip tubing, at the new service center.

When designing the 50,000 square feet pre-cast concrete building, we focused on features that enhanced performance and safety, as well as features to make it environmentally-friendly:

• Validated clean room for pharmaceutical operations
• Redundant variable temperature cold storage
• Wireless facility environmental control monitoring

Safety

• Fire and life safety emergency ventilation integrated systems
• Full chemical containment with liquid tight flooring
• Enhanced access and security control and monitoring

• Energy efficient HVAC systems and fully insulated building envelope
• Day lighting with high efficient motion activate lighting
• Rain gardens for storm water treatment
