Durham, NC - April 19th, 2011 - Doe & Ingalls, a leading chemical services provider, and BioVectra, a specialized cGMP manufacturer of API’s and bioprocessing materials, jointly announced today the renewal and expansion of their partnership agreement.  The new 3-year agreement names Doe & Ingalls the exclusive distribution partner for BioVectra bioprocessing reagents in the United States and Puerto Rico.

Doe & Ingalls will provide customers access to BioVectra’s key bioprocessing products, such as Dithiothreitol, TCEP, animal-free IPTG, MPEG reagents and enzymes. Many of these products are available in cGMP grades. Doe & Ingalls will also provide cGMP-compliant cold storage, essential to maintaining stability for many bioprocessing products, from its Jessup, MD and Riverside, CA facilities. These facilities support both 2-8ºC and frozen storage needs.

Utilizing Doe & Ingalls as a strategic supplier for the U.S. market provides BioVectra with a national sales presence and an extended platform for bringing top quality reagents to the market. In addition to providing bioprocessing reagents, BioVectra offers cGMP custom manufacturing of MPEG reagents and both biologic and synthetic API’s, from fermentation, synthesis, and natural product extraction. This cGMP experience makes BioVectra a unique supplier, able to leverage its operations and quality assurance understanding to meet the exact individual needs of biologic drug manufacturers.
