Doe & Ingalls Receives Triangle Business Journal’s Fast 50 Award
November, 22 2011 – Doe & Ingalls, LLC – On November 18, 2011 Doe & Ingalls received the Triangle Business Journal’s (TBJ) Fast 50 Award, ranking number twenty on the list. This is the seventh time the company has been recognized with this award since the year 2000.
According to the TBJ, this honor is given to private firms throughout the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. TBJ Publisher, Bryan Hamilton writes, “[The] awards were created to recognize outstanding entrepreneurial excellence and growth, honoring the 50 fastest growing privately held companies in the Triangle.” Awards are given based on revenue growth and profitability over the past three years, and the data is reviewed by PricewaterhouseCoopers to determine recipients of the award.
Doe & Ingalls has grown substantially between 2008 and 2010, driven by company expansion and acquisition. In 2009, the company expanded to the West Coast with the opening of a service center in Riverside, California. In August 2010, Doe & Ingalls Management, LLC acquired Doe & Ingalls, Inc. located in Massachusetts allowing for the company to further expand in the Northeast. These locations are an addition to those established in Maryland (2007), Florida (1994) and North Carolina (1986). Combined, these service centers allow Doe & Ingalls to service both the life science and advanced technology industries throughout the United States.
